DUAW DAVAO PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT
About the Tournament
1. The tournament is open to participants 18 years old and above from Davao City and other cities, municipalities, and provinces. Players must have a DUPR account with at least 60% reliability at the time of registration.
2. DUPR account names should match the participant’s real name or be closely related (e.g., nicknames). The use of duplicate DUPR accounts to bypass skill level restrictions is strictly prohibited.
3. The tournament is FREE. No registration fee shall be collected.
4. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Screening will be based on the registration time stamp. Once all slots are filled, registration will automatically close.
5. A maximum of 40 teams per division will be accepted.
6. The tournament will have three categories: Low Intermediate Category, High Intermediate Category, and Open Category. Players who have consistently competed in higher-level divisions beyond their current skill category, and/or have achieved two (2) podium finishes in such divisions. The player’s prior participation must be in a public or open tournament, and not in private or club-exclusive events shall be subject to automatic reclassification to a higher skill level at the discretion of the Tournament Committee.

- Decisions by referees and organizers are final.

- collected through the platform shall be processed in accordance with Data Privacy Act
- of 2012 and other applicable laws and regulations.
- By registering, you voluntarily consent to the collection, storage, processing, and use
- of your personal information for legitimate operational purposes including but not
- limited to account management, bookings, event participation, communication,
- marketing, payment processing, and system administration.
- 2. Accuracy of Information
- Users agree that all information submitted during registration and platform use is true,
- accurate, current, and complete. PickleProWorld reserves the right to suspend or
- terminate accounts found to contain false, misleading, fraudulent, or incomplete
- information.
- 3. Code of Conduct and Account Suspension
- Users and participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully, responsibly,
- and in accordance with all applicable rules, regulations, safety measures, and policies
- imposed by PickleProWorld and its partner venues.
- Any user found to be in direct violation of these Terms and Conditions, venue rules
- and regulations, tournament guidelines, or engaged in misconduct, abusive behavior,
- harassment, fraudulent activity, unsportsmanlike conduct, or actions that may
- compromise the safety, operations, or reputation of PickleProWorld, its organizers,
- venues, staff, or participants may have their account suspended or permanently
- terminated without prior notice.
- PickleProWorld likewise reserves the right to deny participation in events, matches,
- bookings, or activities whenever deemed necessary.
- 4. Responsibility for Damages
- Any damage caused to venues, courts, facilities, equipment, furniture, or property
- during participation in games, events, or activities shall be the sole responsibility of the
- individual who caused the damage. The concerned participant agrees to shoulder all
- corresponding repair, replacement, or related costs incurred.
- 5. Assumption of Risk and Health Declaration
- Participation in sports and recreational activities carries inherent physical risks
- including injury, illness, accidents, or unforeseen incidents.
- By registering and participating, users acknowledge that they are physically fit and
- medically capable of participating in such activities. Participants voluntarily assume all
- risks associated with participation and release PickleProWorld, its organizers, staff,
- partners, sponsors, and affiliated venues from liability for injuries, accidents, losses,
- or damages incurred during participation, except in cases of proven gross negligence
- as provided by law.
- 6. Limitation of Liability
- PickleProWorld shall not be held liable for loss of personal belongings, theft, delays,
- cancellations, technical interruptions, indirect damages, incidental damages, venuerelated incidents, or other losses arising from the use of the platform or participation
- in activities, except where liability is expressly required by applicable law.
- 7. Payments, Bookings, and Refunds
- Registration fees, booking fees, tournament fees, subscriptions, and other payments
- made through the platform may be subject to separate cancellation, refund, and
- rescheduling policies.
- Unless otherwise stated in writing, payments made are non-transferable and nonrefundable. PickleProWorld reserves the right to decline, cancel, or adjust bookings
- and registrations when operationally necessary.
- 8. Event Adjustments and Scheduling
- PickleProWorld reserves the right to modify schedules, venues, match formats, player
- assignments, tournament mechanics, court availability, or event arrangements
- whenever necessary due to operational, safety, logistical, or unforeseen
- circumstances.
- 9. Venue Rules and Compliance
- Users and participants agree to comply with all operational policies, safety protocols,
- dress codes, equipment requirements, and house rules imposed by partner venues
- where activities are conducted.
- Failure to comply with venue regulations may result in removal from the premises,
- disqualification from activities, suspension of bookings, or account termination.
- 10. Media and Photo Release
- By participating in activities, events, tournaments, or matches organized through
- PickleProWorld, users grant permission for photographs, videos, livestreams,
- recordings, and other media containing their likeness to be captured and used for
- promotional, marketing, documentation, advertising, and social media purposes
- without additional compensation or prior notice.
- 11. Account Security
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account
- credentials, passwords, and login information. Any activity conducted under a
- registered account shall be deemed the responsibility of the account holder.
